With Tilgate cancelled I had to do something, the riders org Yahoo group suggested a practice day at Cusses Gourse which seemed like as good an idea as any
Cusses Gourse is a motorcross track near Salisbury, not quite enduro but good practice anyway. Big jumps, doubles, stairs (up hill and down) fast bits tight corners, it's got them all. Due to the number of persons there we were split into three groups each getting twenty minutes practice followed by 40 minutes 'rest'. As the day wore on I finally sussed how to do the doubles. hitting them at the right speed makes them very easy to navigate, go to slow and you smack into the second lump go too fast and... well I didn't try that one.
My confidence finally getting better on the jumps I almost cleared the smaller tabletop. This is not an easy feat as it's not that small.
Generally a good confidence building day and a good alternative to the cancelled Tilbury Enduro.

While there I got the chance of a go in Bob Rawlings outfit. An excellent experience, not to be missed but also unlikely to be repeated.
